L.A.R.P. ON! something free and fun to do in Portland! Join Us Any and every SATURDAY!
Basically, We get together every Saturday at the local park, we dress up in midevil/fantasy costumes (optional but encouraged) and hit each other with foam covered weapons! Whhhaaatt?! Yeah, it's actually really fun. It's a laid back and easy going environment with a diverse group of individuals. There is something for everyone in this game! Like to craft stuff? we got you! Just wanna beat on some people with foam weapons? we got you! Like to dress up in costumes? we got you! Sewing, crafting, cooking? Music? Poetry? Writing? we got you! Bored out of your mind and want to hang outside with real people who won't judge you for whatever stuff you're into? WE GOT YOU! We also have 100-200+ camp outs a few times a year!
So what do you need to do? NOTHING! Just SHOW UP! Any time between 12pm and 5pm, generally speaking, is when we play. All you need to bring is yourself, and anything you would normally take for a day at the park! We have weapons you can use, and can explain the rules. If you want to read the RULE BOOK before hand you can but it's not necessary.
